Varsha Vikram a II year degree student of Govt. Women’s College, Trivandrum, who proved her mettle, both in music and acting hails from Kodakara, Thrissur district. She is devoted in learning classical music forms from very young age and have performed at several important events and won several awards. She has won several prizes in acting and music at various level. She has sung for devotional Cassette ‘Guruthipushparyal’ and also given her sound for two music albums.
She also performed with famous play back singers like P.Jayachandran, Biju Narayanan, Madhu Balakrishnan, Pradeep Somasundaram, Chitra, Aiyar, Kalabhavan Mani, Radhika Thilak, Gayatri & Jyotsana.
She started participating in competitions from a very young age, right from Nursery classes. In the youth festival she bagged many prizes for mimicry, acting & playing music instruments. She has many stage performances to her credit. She has all the potentials of a prodigy — excellent memory, reasoning and rhythm that a classical singer needs. She started learning music under the guidance of Kalamandiram Syamala teacher. She is always ready to perform despite all her commitments and thanks to all the encouragement from her guru, parents and teachers who encouraged her to go for the classical and traditional art.
